Michael & Marcy, Bella Vista, Arkansas

This was one of those weddings that you don't forget. Michael and Marcy had so much meaning and history behind every detail of their ceremony, and entire day. Leading up to this day, it has been such a joy to get to know them as a couple through texts, meetings, and finally, their wedding. So clear that they are serious about life with each other.
I'm always grateful to be a part of such a memorial day. Here's just a glimpse into the moments they shared and the joy that we all saw.

Congrats again Michael & Marcy!

Sam & Christina, Dec 11th 2015

What a special day to be a part of! Sam & Christina chose to have a very private wedding and I loved being one of the six people there. Friday morning we all met together to celebrate the joining of these two. It was overcast and humid, but no less than 50 degrees. They both wore simple and personal details and chose to be married on the slope of a hill leading to the mansion on campus at MSSU.

These laid back weddings I am beginning to love. I love non traditional. They are simple and the very opposite of the word staged. I love these small weddings because they focus on what it really is: the marriage of two people, nothing more, nothing less. And the beauty of it still remains.

In the coming year I would love to be a part of more private weddings & elopements. If you're considering it, don't hesitate to reach out!

Courtney & Elijah

September 26th 2015. One of the sweetest, simple and intimate weddings I've had the honor to capture. I'm so glad they chose me to photograph their wedding. I've known Courtney and her family since childhood. That morning at her grandparents house I felt like part of the family. These are just a few highlights, and just a glimpse into who these people are.
Congrats Courtney & Elijah! I'm so glad I got to document the start of your journey.

Ashton & Taylor

Just a few highlights of Ashton & Taylor's wedding on 6.27.2015. This wedding was on the perfect day in June to be married, with mild weather and sun rays of gold that slit through the trees. Taylor said she wanted something different and unique for their wedding-party portraits. Just a few days before their wedding, I was able to find a great location in Carthage to work in. After their ceremony, we ended up shooting at a mansion from the late-Victorian era with rich wooden paneling and wide windows that let in a wealth of good natural lighting.

One of my favorite parts of witnessing Ashton & Taylor celebrate their union, was the bond and community they held with so many people who genuinely loved and supported them. It was a sense of knowing that each person present was wholeheartedly cheering them on and had seen truth and commitment in their relationship leading to marriage.

I'm leaving you with just a taste of who Ashton & Taylor are, and the beautiful day they shared together.
